Student Scientific Conference

Each autumn, the University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague hosts the Student Scientific Conference, where students of bachelor’s and master’s programmes present the results of their research projects. The contributions are divided into approximately 60 sections according to their scientific specialization, and each participating student presents their work before an expert committee in the form of a short lecture or poster presentation. The best contributions in all sections are awarded valuable prizes, often with the support of our industrial partners.

Due to the diverse focus of its research groups, the Department of Chemistry of Natural Compounds typically organizes two sections:

• Synthetic Chemistry
• Analytical and Biological Chemistry

We appoint two committees composed of internal and external experts with long-standing experience in the respective fields.
