Welcome to the Laboratory of Carbohydrate and Glycomimetic Chemistry (A246)
We are a research group focused on the study and development of carbohydrates and glycomimetics. Our laboratory specializes in investigating the structure, properties, and synthesis of carbohydrates and their analogues with the aim of understanding their biological and therapeutic effects.

Our team is dedicated to advanced analytical and synthetic methodologies, allowing us to explore new insights and applications in carbohydrate and glycomimetic chemistry. We collaborate with academic institutions, industrial partners, and other scientific laboratories to conduct research projects and develop innovative solutions.
Our main research interests include the study of carbohydrate structure and function in relation to biological processes, including their role in cellular recognition, immune responses, and disease pathogenesis. We also focus on the development of glycomimetics — compounds that mimic the structure and function of carbohydrates and may have potential applications in therapeutics, including drugs, vaccines, and diagnostic tools.
