Tato spolupráce propojuje expertízu v oblasti stereoselektivní syntézy komplexních sacharidových derivátů a glykomimetik s pokročilými metodami NMR spektroskopie, strukturní analýzy a biochemického studia interakcí protein–ligand.

Additional Collaborations at IOCB Prague
The Joint Laboratory actively collaborates with several research groups at the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry of the Czech Academy of Sciences and provides specialized expertise in carbohydrate synthesis and glycomimetic design for a broad range of interdisciplinary projects.
Current collaborations include, for example:
- Jiří Jiráček & Lenka Žáková – development of stable ligands for the CI-M6P/IGF2R receptor, which plays an important role in pathological and neurodegenerative processes.
- Hector Martinez-Seara – preparation of selectively sulfonated derivatives of L-iduronic acid for computational and biophysical studies.
The laboratory is open to new collaborations within IOCB Prague, especially in projects where the synthesis of complex carbohydrates and structure-guided ligand design can contribute to solving current research challenges.
